Despite the hype being real due to its integration with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Warzone players are facing a lot of issues with new content.

This isn’t the first time these kinds of issues have surfaced in recent days, and with how much the game changes, it was only a matter of time before players started complaining.
The integration of Cold War and War zone was something many fans were looking forward to. A big draw was that players could remember their builds Modern Warfare’s version of War zone and be able to transfer that to the Cold War version. But many fans are coming out and saying that despite the first season being pushed back, the integration is still very deadly and doesn’t seem to get any better.

Reddit user DavidWurgy posted in it War zone subreddit, saying that War zone and Modern warfareThe integration worked so well it just should have stayed that way, and suggested that Cold War‘s weapons should be completely removed from the battle royale. Another Reddit user, ruckh, shared how the guns got in Cold War version of War zone are worse than Modern warfare weapons in general, saying there is no reason to use the new weapons in any scenario. Another user, Like_A_Bossk, agreed and mentioned the combination of Cold War and War zone an error. The user then explains how the game now has dual weapons with different stats with different attachments that are not comparable to the other weapons or even compatible, and that the bugs, glitches and everything else that came with the integration has it not made fun. Users of the game’s subreddit seem to share similar sentiments, and many say they plan to avoid it Cold War‘s weapons at all costs.
Players have run into a lot of trouble since then Cold War season one has begun, and it’s not all about the weapons of the game. From glitches that made players completely invisible to bugs that messed up weapon upgrades, the game has become less fun, even though season one is barely more than a day out.
While the game’s developer has taken steps to try to fix the issues as soon as possible, it seems it still has its job to do, not just clearing up the issues in Black Ops Cold War but also the integration with Call of Duty: Warzone. At the end of the day, players want to be able to play a simple battle royale, but with how the integration has gone so far, it seems to have lost a lot of its appeal. Until some patches are made, players will likely continue to find reasons to complain – and perhaps leave for other games.
