The first five episodes of WandaVision are available to watch now on Disney + and the latter two featuring Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis. This is Dennings’ first time since in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Thor: The Dark World was released in 2013. Dennings rejoins the MCU in one of its most ambitious projects. In fact, she recently said Extra TV that she thought the idea was ‘madness’ when she first heard the pitch.
In the interview, Dennings explains that her first meeting for the series took place in “a top secret conference room” and that she had to sign many NDAs before entering. She added that the walls were “covered with sitcom references” and also with comic books. “I was like,” How are you going to do this? This is madness. This concept, I had never heard of this. “They’ve done incredibly well, of course, but it’s hard to explain.” Dennings goes on to say that the ‘testament to the show’ is the fact that her mother, who has never seen an Avengers movie, loves it. . Dennings fans will be excited to hear that Darcy is likely to appear in more upcoming Marvel projects. “There are some things I’ve done for Marvel that are coming out, but not [WandaVision]. But I probably can’t say it, ”Dennings said Additional. “Let’s leave it at that.”
Dennings recently spoke with the Keep it podcast about WandaVision and revealed that the role of Darcy was originally going to be a few scenes, but her friendship with Natalie Portman (Jane Foster) inspired a bigger part.
“Because Natalie and I are already friends, I still remember this exactly,” says Dennings. “I walk into the room and I’m very shy. I came in and I sat down and Natalie wasn’t there yet and everyone was so nice. Natalie came in and sat on my lap because we’re friends. infect them [like] its purity and love.
