Vincent, the actor’s son Vin Diesel, will appear as a child’s version of Dominic Toretto’s character in ‘Fast and Furious 9’.
According to the Variety Portal, this will be the first big screen role for the 10-year-old boy.
The long-awaited film will be in cinemas for the time being in June.
Led by Justin Lin, the story follows the confrontation of Toretto and his team against Jakob (John Cena), his younger brother and Cipher (Charlize Theron).
The franchise, which launched in 2001, is expected to close with a 10th installment.
The eight existing films, not counting the spin-off ‘Hobbs & Shaw’, have grossed more than $ 5.18 billion in movie theaters.
