Villarreal officially makes the transfer from Santi Cáseres, who traveled through America, to Vélez

At the beginning of the year, Santi Cáseres took out his loan with América and his transfer to Vélez Sarfield was made official, where he will play on loan after the deal with Villarreal.

Villarreal provided the Argentine midfielder’s lease on Saturday Santi Cáseres to his country’s Club Atlético Vélez Sarfield, team in which he will play on loan until December.

By the end of the week, both clubs had already made this deal, so the player has already passed the medical exam and was waiting for the final frills to close.

Since January 2020, he has been playing on loan for the Mexican team of America, with which he canceled his loan at the beginning of this year.

Those hanging fringes were based on the Argentina team’s possible purchase option, an option that isn’t mandatory, and the clause that Villarreal could re-fish the player in June if necessary, which was eventually included.

With that, Cáseres plays on loan to Vélez until December 31 of this year, and can be restored by Villarreal if they need it in June.

This is the Argentinian player’s second loan, which does not appear to be part of the club’s plans, having been one of the strongest bets three seasons ago.

The midfielder joined the Castellón team three seasons ago, with Villarreal paying a nearly ten million euros transfer, although after playing as a starter at the start of the 18-19 season, a knee injury shortened his projection and became a player who did that did not elaborate on coach Javi Calleja’s plans in that second part of the course.

Cáseres had to return to Villarreal, a club with which he still has the rest of this season and two more seasons, but from the Spanish club It had already been made clear that the only option for the footballer was to find a way out, either as an assignment or as a definitive transfer on this market.

After several options, Cáseres decided to bet on returning to what was his home team, which he will play with for the rest of this season.
