ORLANDO, Fla. An SUV drove off Interstate 4 and landed on the roof on Kaley Street, forcing police to close the freeway near downtown Orlando.

The crash was reported around 6 a.m. on I-4 east on Monday, which was closed at Kaley Street. Two lanes were reopened about 30 minutes later and all eastbound lanes were reopened by 8:30 am. Eastbound driveways on Michigan Avenue were also reopened.
By 12:30 PM, repairs were completed and all lanes reopened.

Orlando police said a person was seriously injured and taken to a hospital as a trauma patient. Another victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
“The vehicle appears to have exited I-4 and crashed into Kaley,” News 6 road safety expert Trooper Steve said earlier.
Wesley Cole witnessed the crash at a nearby gas station and ran to help.
Sparks flew about twenty feet in the air. That’s the first thing I saw. You can really see the jeep rising above the guardrail and you knew it was coming, ”Cole said. “He hit the mast and fell backwards, then he shot the driver. It’s the craziest thing I’ve ever seen, but someone was definitely looking forward to him. “
No other details about the crash have been released.
