Video shows quick-thinking Chick-fil-A customer helping agents arrest an escaping suspect

A customer waiting at a Chick-fil-a drive-thru is praised for his quick thinking after helping a police officer arrest a suspect he was chasing.

The incident took place in Jacksonville, Texas on Wednesday, while the man was waiting in line for his chicken sandwich, according to KLTV.

Jacksonville police say agents were chasing a suspect who they believe was driving a stolen vehicle and jumped out of the car to escape the police.

When the suspect tried to run through the restaurant’s parking lot between the line of cars, the customer waited for just the right time to open his truck door for the suspect.

An officer fell on the man after he fell to the ground, and the client can further assist the officer in the arrest.

A hungry customer, patiently waiting for his chicken sandwich, used his door to stop the suspect. The suspect was quickly arrested after the “HANGRY” (but helpful) citizen reminded the suspect why you should never go before the police have to flee.

Police did not say whether the suspect was charged with the arrest.

The video received a lot of attention, with more than a thousand comments and shared almost ten thousand times on Facebook alone, and much more on Twitter.
