A statue of Santa Muerte was found “intact” amid the rubble of the Santa Ana market, consumed by a fire last night.

The discovery was made by people approaching what was left of the nutrition center during the first hours of this Thursday.

The finding surprised the vendors who approached the facilities early in the morning.

The statue was located in the southwestern part of the supply center; especially in the area where there are local people called suchileros.

Another woman, apparently a salesperson, indicates that it is difficult to know what is in each position because they are closed.

“It is intact, it is not burned or smoked, everything is burned on the coast,” the narrator concludes.

Last night, strong flames destroyed almost everything in the Santa Ana market.

The few tenants who entered the supply center on Thursday morning were not surprised at what they saw, especially given the extent of the damage.

The fire department has classified it as a Level III structural fire due to the amount of resources used to contain it.

More than 500 members of the National Civil Protection System supported the firefighters to quell the incident.
