A Bolivian Air Force plane crashed on Wednesday in a residential area in Sacaba municipality, Cochabamba, killing at least one and injuring several, according to local media data.
Preliminary information indicates that the damaged aircraft is a K-8 Jet and crashed into a house. The deceased is a resident of the home. Another person who was on the scene was injured.
The impact has been captured on video, this shows a column of smoke in the communal area. Another clip published by RT shows locals trying to help those affected.
Regarding the aircraft’s occupants, authorities reported that two pilots were on board and managed to catapult in time. They did flying exercises.

An explosion was heard after the impact, the witness said. Neighboring neighbors approached the place to try to extinguish the flames consuming the house as a whole.
The causes of the accident are said to have been mechanical failures.
Colonel Jhonny Corrales, the Cochabamba Police Department Commander, told the media that the two pilots are stable, one under medical supervision in the city of Cochabamba and the other being questioned about the incident.
