VIDEO | Emergency landing of aircraft with faults at Mons Romero airport

The Autonomous Executive Port Commission (CEPA) reported Wednesday that Oscar Arnulfo Romero’s airport personnel attended an emergency landing of a cargo plane that had a malfunction in the hydraulic system.

The plane, owned by the carrier UPS, was a Boeing 757 from Managua, with Miami as its final destination.

“Our aviation firefighters acted deftly to evaluate the aircraft and verify that there was no risk; then they cleaned up the hydraulic fluid spill on runway 25 in order to safely resume aerial operations, ”the autonomous explained on her Twitter account.

After the emergency, the cargo plane was towed to position 3 of the airport’s cargo air terminal, awaiting the resolution of the mechanical problems, to resume its course.
