“Very delicate” the health of Carlos Romero Barceló

Melinda Romero Donnelly, daughter of former Puerto Rico governor Carlos Romero Barceló, assured her father’s health today, Tuesday.

“My father’s health is very fragile after going through two infectious processes, one of which caused septicemia, which in turn affected the proper function of other organs in his body. Now that the septicemia is over and there is no trace of the bacteria that affected him, we are now treating additional complications from the extended hospital stay, ”Melinda said through written statements.

She added that the former governor is in his hometown, where he will receive all the necessary care to recover.

“He is at home and we are giving him all the attention he needs so that he can recover in this new phase. We thank all the people who contacted us to know the details of his health and who along with our family and us prayed for as long as you can keep asking the Almighty for your health. “
