MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Registration for the COVID-19 vaccine is now open for Vermonters 75 and older.
You can register for the vaccine via this link. You can also call 855-722-7878 from Monday 12:00 to make an appointment. In the future, the call center will be open Monday to Friday from 8:15 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
When you make an appointment, you will be asked for your name, date of birth, a few medical questions, such as whether you’ve recently had another vaccine, and your insurance details, although insurance is not required.
The first appointments start next Wednesday.
A receptionist will check you in, someone will give you a chance, then you will observe for 15 minutes and then you can leave. It is important to get to your appointment because failure to do so could ruin your dose.
An appointment to receive the second dose of the vaccine will be made after you have received your first injection.
