Vaccination arrangements available to eligible Alameda County – NBC Bay Area residents

Appointments for the first dose of COVID-19 vaccinations are available to Alameda County residents aged 16 and over and those working in the county in industries at increased risk of exposure.

Eligible work sectors are janitors, including cleaning ladies, in any industry; public transport workers, including airport and commercial airlines; counselors; workers in food and agriculture, including restaurants, groceries, convenience stores; and employees in education and childcare.

Those who qualify can register for an appointment at the Berkeley Public Health mass vaccination site at 1 Buchanan St. in Albany. Once an appointment is scheduled, an email will be sent confirming the date and time. Appointments are verified on site with identification. Registrants will not be asked about immigration status. The curative staff will help schedule a second dose appointment in the post-vaccination area after the injection has been given.
