The former US president Donald Trump announced on Sunday that he has hired two new lawyers to lead his defense during his historic second impeachment trial.
Trump’s announcement comes a day later US media reported that several of their lawyers had left their legal team, almost a week after the Senate trial begins.

In a statement, the Republican millionaire said so “Highly Respected Trial Attorneys” David Schoen and Bruce L. Castor, Jr. would lead his legal team.
Castor has focused on criminal justice throughout his career, while Schoen specializes in “civil rights litigation in Alabama and federal criminal defense in New York, including white collar and other complex cases.”

Trump, who left office on January 20, He was accused by the House of Representatives of inciting the crowd of his sympathizers to storm the convention building in an effort to block the officialization of his electoral defeat for Democrat Joe Biden.
