Update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate version 10.1.0 will be released later this week

Smash Ultimate version 10.1.0

Nintendo has confirmed that the next update scheduled for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be released later this week, urging players to convert saved replays before it arrives.

The update will of course coincide with the full launch of the game’s newest character, Sephiroth; if you weren’t lucky enough to unlock it early, the character will become available this week to all players who have the relevant DLC pass (22nd or 23rd depending on your time zone).

If you have any repeats that you want to keep, make sure to convert them before version 10.1.0 comes out:

Don’t forget that you can now also claim the latest Super Smash Bros. Ultimate freebie on the Switch eShop.

Looking forward to watching Sephiroth later this week? Have you already unlocked it before its full launch? Let us know in the comments.
