Universal to unlock Florida’s most “intense, fast and longest” rollercoaster

MiamiUniversal announced on June 10 the inauguration at the Islands of Adventure theme park of the most “intense, fastest, and tallest” rollercoaster in the state of Florida, the VelociCoaster.

Thrill seekers will have the opportunity to soar 155 feet (47 meters) high and be catapulted into their seats at a speed of 70 miles (112 kilometers) per hour in 2.4 seconds, while dodging birds of prey and saurs in the velociraptor zone.

Undoubtedly, it will be the “most intense roller coaster in history,” as defined in a statement from Universal Orlando.

The VelociCoaster will not only be Florida’s tallest and fastest ride, but it will also provide riders in advanced and advanced transport vehicles with an audio system on the ride.

Conceived and designed by the teams at Universal Creativem Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, this new roller coaster brings to life a new Jurassic World story that combines epic thrills and breathtaking maneuvers, Universal Orlando said in a statement.

The towering VelociCoaster will transport visitors to a “dynamic environment inspired by the” Jurassic World “movies, surrounded by intricately detailed rocks and lush landscapes, the company added.

Once inside the attraction, visitors are welcomed by Dr. Wu and will learn the details of the new roller coaster that Jurassic World is promoting as its new “carnivorous expansion”.

On the exhilarating journey, tourists will hear screams and even come face to face with some hungry Velociraptors eagerly waiting to be released from captivity.

The attraction uses the the same technology already used on Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure roller coaster in the area dedicated to the world of Harry Potter, the most visited area in Universal Orlando Resort.

The revolutionary seat design of this roller coaster provides only one front rider protection bar on every 360 degree turn, leaving the occupant face down.

Universal Orlando said it will continue to implement safety procedures and guidelines to prevent COVID-19 contamination, with measures such as investigating tourists and team members, the obligation of social distance and the use of masks.
