The composer, producer and performer Prince Royce is a deserved winner of a Guinness World Records recognition after his song Carita de Innocente hit number one on the Billboard Tropical Airplay chart for most weeks.
Geoffrey Royce Rojas, known worldwide as Prince Royce, has just shared this amazing recognition on his social network account Instagram, and within minutes all of his followers have rushed to congratulate him.
Guinness records are a part of everyone’s life, including mine. I remember when I was little I marveled at those who were in the book that comes out every year. As an artist, I never thought I would get a prize for breaking a Guinness record, says Royce.
In addition to the pride such an achievement could mean for everyone, the singer assures that it has an extra component for him due to the genre he represents. The fact that I achieved it with a bachata excites me even more. For me it is a way of continuing to honor the Dominican Republic and all the sacrifice and love of my parents.
