UK physical map data is now in for the week ending January 16, showing that Animal Crossing: New Horizons is still quite at the top of the stack.
The game is now experiencing its third consecutive week at number one in the UK as Switch owners across the country step in for the very first time. It has been on the official rankings since its launch in March last year, and it seems increasingly likely that it will remain in a chart position for the remainder of its debut year.
Animal Crossing isn’t the only success for Nintendo this week though; Mario Kart 8 Deluxe remains in second place for the second straight week, with six of the top ten being exclusive to Switch. Even Just Dance 2021, one of the few titles that wasn’t exclusive to the Nintendo platform, was still the best-selling on Switch this week.
