Authorities of the University of Business and Social Sciences (UCES) they visited on Friday the Regional Hospital Cuenca Alta Samic with the aim of formally presenting your project to it medical career in Cañuelas district.
The presentation of the initiative – which was announced in December 2019, shortly before the pandemic – was responsible for the rector of UCES, Gastón O’Donnell, and the headmaster emeritus of the house, Horacio O’Donnell, accompanied by the mayor Marisa Fassi.
For the Board of Directors – consisting of its chairman, Sergio Alejandre, and the advisers Luis Crovetto, Alexia Navarro, José Ingold and Roberto Fernández Meire– Gastón and Horacio O’Donnell have provided details about the project that will be presented shortly to the National Commission for University Evaluation and Accreditation (CONEAU), and for that the health center should be added as a university hospital.
The advent of the medical career contributes to the consolidation of the Cañuelas university pool. It is a project that confirms the importance that the ward has today in educational matters, as it is a career that has no academic offer in the region.
UCES landed in Cañuelas in 2011 with the opening of its first outbuilding. A reinforced its presence in the district in October 2018, then inaugurated the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in the brand new building of San Vicente 1289 esq. Antarctica Argentina. Sometime later, he added a veterinary clinic to his site on Route 6.
UCES has been teaching medicine at its headquarters since the late 1990s. The race was approved by resolution 2469/98 of the Ministry of Education and endorsed by CONEAU resolution 1332/14. It grants official and national valid title. 77% of UCES Medicine graduates enter the medical residency program and enter the professional field immediately upon graduation.
