Two suspects have been arrested for shooting a man near Denver, Berkeley.

Janel Gallegos, 24, was arrested on Friday, December 11, and Andrew Abeyta, 25, was arrested on Monday, December 14, according to Denver police. Both are being held on the basis of an investigation into first degree murder.
The shooting took place on Dec. 7 at block 4400 of Grove Street, police said. Statements as to the likely cause of the suspects’ arrests are currently being sealed.
Police did not release a photo of Abeyta on Tuesday.
The victim in the case is identified as Jordan Patterson Jr., 30, according to the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner. Patterson was pronounced dead on the spot.
