Two Ohio State soccer players named on ESPN’s All-American Team

Before the Ohio State soccer team heads to the Big Easy to take on Clemson in the Sugar Bowl, we’ve got a shortened price and an All-American Team circuit to see.

No doubt it was a twisty journey to the end of a bizarre college football season in 2020, and we can now come upstairs for some fresh air and take stock of what we’ve all been through. In that regard, ESPN has just released its All-American Team, which includes a starter for every position on the football field. and as is the case with most years, there is a two-player state representation of Ohio.

Alabama players dominate the six-player team, and Notre Dame was the only other team with more than one roster with offensive guard Aaron Banks and linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah named. The fact that the Buckeyes have two on the team is notable in itself for a shortened six-game schedule due to the coronavirus pandemic, but don’t tell all the critics out there.

So which two Buckeyes has the global leader in sports programming selected? Maybe you can guess based on all the preseason hype, or maybe not. Regardless, the next two OSU players are to be congratulated.
