PS5 upgrades and an additional mission weren’t the only ones Final Fantasy VII revealed today, as Square Enix also announced two mobile games taking place in the same setting. Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis fans should feel comfortable with a “chapter-structured single-player experience” that includes the events of the original game, its expansions and new story elements, all in one free-to-play RPG title.

Ever crisis also ties into the story of the other mobile game called a Battle Royale action title Final Fantasy VII The First SoldierA teaser trailer showed how players use guns, swords and magical abilities to defeat enemies from a first and third person perspective.
Both games come out for Android and iOS, with First soldier later this year, followed by Ever crisis in 2022.
