At least two FBI agents have been killed and three others injured in a shooting that took place during an operation early Tuesday. against a suspect of child pornography in Sunrise, a Florida city in the urban conglomerate of Miami.
Sunrise police have indicated that agents along with other agents were executing a federal search warrant in an apartment complex around 6 a.m. when the shooting took place.
A suspect barricaded in the house for hours, police said. Two of the injured officers have been hospitalized and are stable, NBC reports.

The alleged murderer has also died, as reported in a statement from the FBI’s Miami office.
Two of the injured officers have been taken to hospital, where they are in stable condition. The FBI did not disclose the status of the third injured agent or the names of the officers killed.
In a tweet just after 9 a.m., police said the location where the shooting had taken place was already safe, but asked residents to stay at home as an investigation was underway.
The man was wanted for possession of child pornography. FBI agents and federal prosecutors in Fort Lauderdale were in charge of the case.
