Newburgh, EE.UU.
The Boeing 757 that former President Donald Trump campaigned in the 2016 election, nicknamed “ Trump Force Once, ” is being abandoned at an airport north of New York City, according to Efe.
The device’s high running costs could have forced the former president to forgo this luxury, establishing the connection between Florida, where he lives, and New York.
The plane is outside in the cargo area of Stewart Airport in Orange County, about a hundred miles north of New York City.
Trump’s ‘crown jewel’ was the former president’s preferred mode of transportation during his 2016 campaign and featured a bedroom, a living-dining room with oversized armchairs and 24-karat gold buckles.
After flying for the last time in January, after Trump left the White House on the 20th of that month, the plane, a symbol of pageantry surrounding the character, has been forgotten amid parking lots and fast-food outlets.
According to aviation analysts, the aircraft needed an engine change, a very expensive repair, adding to the high operating costs.
According to CNN, Trump has exchanged the 43 seats and luxury rooms of the forgotten Boeing 757 in Orange County for a much more modest plane, an 8-seater Cessna 750 Citation X. A similar model was operational this Sunday, not far from the 757.
