Trump is calling for “common sense” from Democratic leaders

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, on Saturday called on Democratic leaders to have “common sense” about the emergency closures they have implemented.

Trump claimed via Twitter that the “lockdowns” are ruining many people’s lives, even that “they are doing more damage than the coronavirus would.”

The president stressed that in California, COVID-19 cases have increased with an emergency shutdown, while in Florida, where it has not been implemented.
