TROOP singer Reggie Warren died Sunday at the age of 52 at his home in San Bernardino County, California.
A representative of the group told TMZ that Warren was surrounded by family when he died.
The singer had spent time in a local hospital last January, according to the outlet, amid ongoing health problems.

Warren was released from the hospital on Saturday, while medical officials expected him to die soon, the representative said. His death was not linked to the coronavirus, the representative said, as his family did not comment further on the matter pending autopsy results.
Warren was one of the original five members of the group with friends Rodney Benford, John Harreld, Steve Russell and Allen McNeil.
Warren’s TROOP colleague Steve Russell took to Instagram with a memorial to his fallen friend, writing: ‘Well done my brother I’ll see you on the other side RIP Reggie Warren #DamnReggie’

TROOP – which is short for Total Respect Of Other People – was founded in 1987 and was signed by the Atlantic Records label, which released their self-titled album the following year.
Their biggest hits included 1988’s Mamacita, 1990’s All I Do Is Think of You, and 1992’s Whatever It Takes (To Make You Stay). Three of their singles hit # 1 on the Billboard R&B Singles chart, with 1990’s All I Do Is Think of You and Spread My Wings, and 1992’s Sweet November.
They were also featured in 1991’s New Jack City singing Living For the City a cappella.
