Trial against Fuentes comes to a decisive phase

The trial of the Honduran Geovanny Fuentes Ramírez entered the final part in New York.

Yesterday the judge Kevin Castel reported to the procedural parties who will present the final arguments of the trial today.

This means that The Manhattan prosecutors have to explain why Fuentes should be found guilty of conspiring to smuggle hundreds of tons of cocaine into US soil.

Once this phase is completed, the jury, consisting of 12 New York residents, will withdraw to consider any evidence that was evacuated during the trial.
