An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.8 was recorded this morning in the northeast of the island.
According to the Puerto Rico Seismic Network, the earthquake occurred at latitude 18.8, longitude 65.2, and 35 miles north of Culebra. It had a depth of 23 kilometers.

There is no tsunami warning for Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Residents of Luquillo, Fajardo, Yabucoa, Bayamón, Carolina and Caguas reported feeling the earthquake.
