Toronto Raptors coach Nick Nurse fined $ 50,000 for throwing mask at bleachers, blasphemy

TAMPA, Fla. – The NBA has fined Toronto Raptors coach Nick Nurse $ 50,000 for throwing his face mask behind the scorer’s table and towards the stands, plus for berating game officials before he left the game at the end of a game Friday night floor.

The competition announced the beautiful Sunday.

Nurse was upset at the end of Toronto’s 115-112 loss to the Utah Jazz, a game in which the Jazz took 41 free throws, compared to the Raptors’ 14.

After the game, the nurse said it “just didn’t seem like they were going to let us win tonight,” without giving details. The 27-shot difference between the teams was the second largest in the NBA this season, the highest being the 28-shot difference Houston had against Golden State on Wednesday.

On Sunday, the Raptors started 4.5 less than opponents free throws per game this season, the second biggest inequality in the league. Chicago gets 5.0 less per game than its opponents.
