Andra Day stars as the jazz singer adored by millions at a time throughout her career and The target of an undercover operation of the Federal Department of Narcotics led by black federal agent Jimmy Fletcher (Trevante Rhodes). And if that wasn’t complicated enough, the tumultuous affair between Fletcher and Holiday makes it all that much better. Based on Johann Hari’s book, Chasing the Scream: The First and Last Days of the War on Drugs, this Lee Daniels-directed drama is a movie new on Hulu this weekend.

The world’s favorite cat and mouse duo is entering the 21st century Tom and Jerry, the latest Warner Bros. blockbuster new to HBO Max this weekend. The animated / live action comedy follows the legendary enemies to a swanky New York City hotel, where Tom has just made his new home. But being a mouse dweller is bad news, especially at the wedding event of the century, which is why the desperate wedding planner (played by Chloë Grace Moretz) hires Tom to get rid of him. Classically jokes and chaos follow as the evergreen battle between the two enemies threatens to destroy her career, the wedding, and even the hotel itself. Featuring Moretz, Michael Peña, Colin Jost and more, Tom and Jerry welcomes once again the animated animal team loved by all generations.
