Tom Brady’s moving TD pass to Drew Brees’ son goes viral

Tom Brady may have gotten the best of Drew Brees in what will likely be the last game of Brees’ career – but the two quarterbacks shared a moving moment after the game was over.

A viral video tweeted by reporter James Palmer shows Brady talking to Brees on the Superdome field after the Buccaneers’ 30-20 victory over the Saints. The two quarterbacks shared a hug while Brees’s family – wife Brittany and children Baylen, Bowen, Callen and Rylen – stood nearby.

Then Baylen approached Brady with a soccer ball and the six-time Super Bowl champion threw a touchdown pass to Brees’s son in the corner of the end zone.

“We could have used you tonight!” Brady joked when Baylen caught the pass.

The video immediately went viral and was viewed more than 7 million times on Monday morning.

Brees, 42, is expected to retire this off-season after 20 years in the NFL. He currently holds a number of all-time NFL records, including the most passing yards with 80,358. Brees already has a deal to work for NBC Sports when he retires.
