Tom Brady, Buccaneers hit quickly with a 36-yard touchdown pass to Antonio Brown

Tampa Bay quarterback Buccaneers Tom Brady and wide receiver Antonio Brown have taken the downfield connection that has blossomed into the postseason over the past four weeks.

Brady played in the Bucs’ first postseason game since 2007 and faced the safety of Washington Football Team Jeremy Reaves before finding Brown on a wheel route for a 36-yard touchdown, giving the Bucs a 9-0 lead because Ryan Succop missed the extra point attempt.

It is Brown’s first playoff game since 2017. He now has five touchdowns in his past five playoff games, including three in his last two. Brady continues to silence his critics, who doubted he could throw the deep ball into Bruce Arians’ attack at the age of 43.

According to ESPN Statistics & Information, Brady has thrown a passing touchdown of 20 or more air yards in six consecutive games, and this is his sixth consecutive game with a TD pass of at least 25 yards downfield. Including playoffs, which is the longest streak of any QB in the past 15 seasons.
