Tito Rojas will have a city vigil next Tuesday

The funeral acts of the singer Tito Rojas will take place tomorrow, December 29, from 1:00 PM at the Marcelo Trujillo Panisse Coliseum, in Humacao.

As confirmed by the artist’s former manager, Robert Cruz, the body will be exposed so that its followers can pay their respects, but according to established safety and health protocols. Among them, the use of masks and social distancing. In addition, there is only one entrance and one exit to avoid people crossing and being crowded.

“Both the family and the municipality are going to be very strict about this. People’s movement is expected to be constant and one-way, ”said Cruz, who emphasized that the public will be able to pay their respects from 1:00 pm to about 6:00 pm.

“People can go in, their temperature is measured and they are given a hand sanitizer. People will come in, pay their respects and leave. Inside the colosseum there will be one room for the media, another for those close to them and, as the colosseum is so large, there will be a room for the musicians who have worked with it at the request of the daughters. But the public can never gather in the colosseum, ”Cruz emphasized.

He also emphasized that there will be an activity at 5:00 PM where the pastor of the church who attended Rojas will hold a small ceremony lasting about 20 minutes. Then the daughters and the mayor of Humacao speak.

The mayor of Humacao, Luis Raúl Sánchez Hernández, for his part, indicated in a statement that the vigil will be one of the people, as he wished.

“The family is going through a difficult time and we want to be the support for them during this time. Tito raised the name Humacao and Puerto Rico, the least we can do is offer him that last goodbye as he deserves ”, adds Sánchez Hernández

It should be noted that the funeral will take place on Wednesday, December 30, from 10:00 am. But it will be private.
