“If you are flying to, from or within the US and you are involuntarily knocked off your flight due to an overbooking, please do not accept the voucher!” Kwon said. “The airlines are not only obliged to find an alternative flight for you, but depending on the length of the delay, you are entitled to cash.”
From there, the TikTokker claimed that people could earn a lot of money because of this.
“For domestic flights, you are entitled to $ 1,350 in cash, based on the price of your one-way ticket. For international flights, the compensation is the same, but the delay times are different,” she claimed. “Go get that money.”

Kwon clarified that while she left her carrier with the carrier a decade ago, others currently working in cabin crew have come forward to share their stories due to her TikTok fame.
