MONTERREY – The UANL Tigres traveled to Qatar this morning to confront the Club World Cup, only with two absences that were those of Nicolás López and Francisco Venegas.
Both players were unable to travel with the team because they were isolated after testing positive for COVID-19 and will continue their recovery process.
The other players have concentrated since Wednesday to face this international competition, which will be the first in the history of the New Leonese club.
Tigres got his pass to the Club World Cup by being crowned in the Concacaf Champions League after beating Los Angeles FC in the final and now, on February 4, he will have his first commitment.
