Rapper actor Tip “TI” Harris and his wife, Xscape singer Tameka “Tiny” Harris, were recently charged with sexually assaulting several women by former employee Sabrina Peterson.
As a result, VH1 has temporarily halted production of their reality series, “TI & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle”.
“We are aware of the allegations and while they are unrelated to our show, we have contacted TI and Tameka Harris, as well as local and government officials,” an MTV Entertainment spokesperson said in a statement to Deadline. “Given the seriousness of the allegations, we have decided to suspend production to gather more information.”
The couple faces a series of allegations of sexual abuse, including trafficking, drying and coercion. They have since denied Peterson’s claims and released their own statement to Complex.
Mr. and Ms. Harris want to be registered and, more importantly, want the public to know that they emphatically and in the strongest possible way deny the blatant allegations made against them by Sabrina Peterson.
The Harrises have struggled with this woman for over ten years. They take this matter very seriously. “
