Three people who wanted to receive cocaine on their way to Europe are imprisoned in El Dorado

The Police’s Anti-Narcotics Directorate also determined that one of the captured drugs was going to deliver to Central America. In all three cases, the drug was hidden in the baggage and in total it was estimated to be nearly a million dollars.

The Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the National Police discovered and detained three people who, with cocaine camouflaged in their luggage, were trying to smuggle drugs to various international destinations. Those arrested were using increasingly sophisticated concealment methods to be imperceptible to the anti-narcotics controls conducted by police in the air terminals, according to authorities.

The first catch occurred when a patrol boat profiled a 56-year-old Dominican citizen who planned to travel to Paris from El Dorado airport. After his baggage was inspected, 12 rectangular packages containing a white powdery substance were found, which when tested on narco test, showed a light blue color, i.e. a preliminary result for cocaine, with a net weight of almost 12,000 grams.

The second catch was reached via the international passenger control service at the El Dorado airport dock, when one of the uniformed officers inspected the checked baggage of a citizen of Ecuadorian nationality. The man planned to travel to Madrid (Spain) with three bottles of vitamin supplement, a can of peaches, a jar of hair conditioner, a bag of condensed milk and a bag of shampoo, elements in which the police discovered a double bottom with cocaine.

The third capture corresponds to a 39-year-old Colombian woman who was attempting to travel to the city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, when she was discovered by an anti-narcotics agent and his dog. In the luggage he carried in the hold, he contained a diary with a double bottom and in two parcels with a powdery substance of pink and yellow color which, when conducting a field test, gave a preliminary result for 2CB (Two-cb).
