Three massive COVID-19 vaccine events will be held this weekend and one event will reschedule Sunday due to cold weather.
All three events are by invitation only, no walk-up attendees.
As a result of the weather forecast for Sunday, Feb. 14, the 2nd-dose drive-through clinic at Coors Field is moving to the Bruce Schroffel Conference Center at UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital, according to a press release.
UCHealth staff will be contacting all 1,000 patients to notify them of the change, the release said.
Kaiser Permanente is hosting massive vaccine events this weekend for educators in Colorado and the state’s senior population (70+), according to a press release. Kaiser Permanente expects to vaccinate 19,000 Coloradans at 16 locations.
Centura Health will host the “first massive COVID-19 vaccine drive-thru clinic” in the Pikes Peak region this weekend, Centura said in a press release.
The vaccine clinic, in partnership with COVIDCheck Colorado, a Gary Community Investments social enterprise, will provide 5,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine to individuals 70 and older who meet the requirements set forth by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment , ‘The release said.
