Thomas Markle plans a new documentary with ‘unseen videos and photos’ of daughter Meghan

Thomas Markle, the father of the Duchess of Sussex, is going to make a documentary about his life, he revealed yesterday.
Markle, 76, said the film would feature never-before-seen home videos and photos of Meghan.
Meghan, 39, has not seen her father since her marriage to Prince Harry.
Mr Markle, a retired Hollywood lighting director, told The Sun about the documentary on Sunday: ‘It starts with my life, my family, my love for theater and television and how I got there.
‘Then my life with Meghan, growing up, her school days until she went to college and then her career took off.

“We had a good life together, during her first marriage and her move to Canada. Then a new story begins. It’s like “What happened to my daughter?” ‘
Mr Markle, who lives in Mexico, said he hoped the film could be ready by the end of the year. In a Channel 5 documentary from last year, Mr. Markle detailed the breakup of his relationship with his daughter.
Meghan lived with her father between the ages of 11 and 18 and Mr. Markle claimed he paid her school and college fees. But he said their relationship turned sour after he was unable to attend her 2018 wedding after undergoing heart surgery.
Mr. Markle said he had never met his grandson Archie and only learned that his daughter was pregnant when he heard it on the radio.

He accused the couple of saying “ nonsense ” about him, saying he believed his relationship with Meghan was irreparably damaged.
In the film, Thomas Markle: My Story, he said he was embarrassed and disappointed by Meghan and Harry’s decision to relinquish their duties as senior royals.
He said they had an ‘obligation’ to represent the royal family and said their newfound freedom to make commercial deals to make money would endanger the royals’ reputation.
Harry, 36, and Meghan have signed contracts to produce shows for Netflix and podcasts for Spotify as part of their new life in Los Angeles.
The deals were signed as part of their new life with son Archie in Los Angeles, following their decision to step down from royal duties last year.
