This is what the teams were like for the All-Star Game

The 2021 NBA All-Star Game takes place on Sunday, March 7 in Atlanta. But thanks to COVID-19, the value of a weekend’s events is compressed into one night: the skill challenge and 3-point competition take place before the competition, while the dunk competition acts as the halftime show.

All-Star votes began on January 28, and All-Star headlines, determined by fan votes (representing 50% of the vote), media votes (25%), and player votes (25%), were announced on January 18. The reserves, which will be voted on by NBA coaches, were announced on TNT on Tuesday.

After last season’s thrilling All-Star debut in Chicago, the “Elam Ending” returns. So are the captains, with Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets and LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers, the top winners of fan votes at their respective conferences, making their pick for the State Farm Arena showdown.
