The youngsters were enjoying the beach when a sea current swept them away

The Piñones Maritime Unit reported the rescue of five young people on Highway 187 km 5.2, near the La Comay Business, Piñones.
According to the information, the individuals were identified as Bimael Rodríguez, 24, Andrew Rivera Rivera, 20, Yashira Calderón Martínez, 28, Natalia Rivera Rivera, 26, and Daniel Perez Calderón, 24 years old.
They enjoyed the beach at the above site and were swept away by a sea current while being rescued by five agents assigned to the Maritime Unit, Piñones.
The injured were treated by paramedics on the spot and then transported to UPR Hospital, Carolina, in stable condition.
