A man was jailed yesterday, Saturday afternoon, after a cause was found against him for violation of Law 54 (art. 3.2 aggravated assault) and violation of the weapons law (art. took place. in a home in the Quebrada Arenas neighborhood of Toa Alta, police reported.
The person was identified as Víctor Rodríguez Lozada, 43, a resident of Toa Alta.
According to the preliminary investigation, a woman was attacked in the head area and left in a vulnerable condition.
She was initially treated at the Toa Alta Diagnosis and Treatment Center and later referred to the Río Piedras Medical Center.
Agent Daysi Silva consulted the case with prosecutor Ginny Andreu, of the Domestic Violence Unit, who ordered the charges against Rodríguez Lozada to be brought to Bayamón District Court.
Judge Manuel Méndez found the cause of the crimes and filed a $ 30,000 worldwide bail bond that Rodríguez Lozada did not pay when he was admitted to the Bayamón Correctional Complex.
