A 25-year-old suspect of the crime of illegal drug trafficking, was captured in recent hours by agents of the National Directorate of Border Police Services (DNSPF), with the support of the Tactical Special Operations Group (GOET)
The action was carried out in the village of Yololan of Namasigue Municipality, Choluteca, through a routine operation.
The detainee is originally from Tegucigalpa and lives in the Suyapa de Choluteca neighborhood.

His arrest was carried out after the officers inspected the vehicle in which the citizen was driving; discovering a false compartment in which he carried 42 kilos of alleged cocaine, which was seized as evidence.
Therefore, the detainee was transferred to the corresponding prosecutor’s office to pursue legal proceedings for the crime of illicit drug trafficking to the detriment of the public health of the state of Honduras
