THERE WAS NO RACISM: Félix Torres, suspended for violent behavior

At the time the Guardians 2021 Day 7 report was released, the Disciplinary Commission reported that Felix Torres, the Santos Laguna center-back, had been suspended for two games after pushing a parade in the game against Atlético San Luis.

The report reveals the punishment of two games that will begin this weekend against Juárez FC for “being guilty of violent conduct”.

Aired videos of the duel show the Ecuadorian defender propelling a parade, one of the events that sparked the confrontation of both squads at the end, where Torres later accused of being a victim of racism.

It should be remembered that the defender’s teammates reported that he ended up in the locker room after the eviction and the laguneros expected San Luis to be punished, but it was mentioned that no evidence of racism was found.

In addition, San Luis Uruguayan helmsman Leonel Rocco were suspended for leaving the technical room, physical trainer Agustín Laprovitera for disrespecting the match officials and Diego Pineda for violent behavior, all one match.
