There is now a Mandalorian mode in Fortnite • Eurogamer.net

Fortnite’s ongoing partnership with Star Wars continues today with a new mode and location added as part of the game’s 3.30pm update.

Mando’s Bounty is a point-based affair in which you have three lives to take down as many opponents as possible – and preferably the target identified by your own bounty puck. This item is in your inventory and projects a holographic image of your victim, just like in the hit TV show The Mandalorian for parenting in space.

The game takes place on the Fortnite map, although at the moment the action appears to be centered around the new cantina location, located near Butter Barn in Fortnite’s desert area (which is more Tatooine-esque than Nevarro, but still). Stop by here and you will be greeted by the famous Star Wars cantina band music and probably a blaster in the face.

Mando’s Bounty can be played solo or as a team. In some ways, it’s similar to the John Wick bounty mode that ran before, although there is a mid-point twist as the Mandalorian himself will eventually appear and look for the game’s points leader. Buy a Victory Royale and you’ll earn a Mandalorian themed victory umbrella.

The current season of Fortnite has a bounty hunter theme and the ultimate Battle Pass prize is unlocking Baby Yoda. While leveling your beskar, you may want to try this mode.
