The Minister of Health, Dr. Plutarco Arias, warned that the risk of coronavirus infection in young people is very high, as is its transmission to homes.
“We are talking about 65% of young people who transmit the disease from the streets to their homes,” Arias said during the presentation of the Operation Commitment for Life, conducted by the Emergency Operations Center (COE) and other state agencies.
Arias urged young people to avoid visits and give hugs to grandparents, and asked the population to maintain social distance, use masks, continue to wash hands, avoid crowds in public areas, and few people go to supermarkets.
“The commitment not to lower your guard is important; we are about to get the vaccines into the country, but we have to be alive and healthy to be vaccinated, ”the minister added.
He invited civilians to join in this struggle of all.
