The trailer for ARK: The Animated Series has been released, featuring an all-star voice cast including Elliot Page, Vin Diesel and Russell Crowe.
An extended version of the trailer for Ark: The Animated Series has been released online.
The trailer features several detailed historical drawings, with different voices discussing topics such as mythology and the costs of violence. The scene then shifts to a young woman wielding a bow and arrow and riding a duck-billed dinosaur, who is attacked by a knight in full armor riding a carnivorous dinosaur. She eventually sends the knight and his horse with the help of her own dinosaur.
ARK: The Animated Series is based on the open world survival game from 2017 ARK: Survival Evolved, developed by Studio Wildcard. The series was announced at the Game Awards 2020 and has been given the green light for two seasons of 14 episodes. ARK creators Jeremy Stieglitz and Jesse Rapczak will develop the series and act as executive producers alongside director Jay Oliva (Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox). Marguerite Bennett (DC Comics Bombshells) is one of the lead writers.
ARK also features a star-studded voice cast, including Michelle Yeoh (Star Trek: Discovery), Russell Crowe (Gladiator), Alan Tudyk (Firefly), David Tennant (Doctor who), Elliot Page (The Umbrella Academy), Jeffery Wright (Westworld) and Vin Diesel (The Fast and the Furious). Madeleine Madden of the upcoming The wheel of time series will star as Helena Walker.
