The Supreme Court is finalizing the final review of the 2021 elections

The agency explained that it had opened the Voice Receiving Boards to find 33 minutes that were missing so that they could be investigated and the process completed.

The Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) reported that the latest investigation has ended and 100% of the minutes have been investigated, the organization’s president, Dora Esmeralda Martínez, said last night.

“We want to let you know that we are ready, one hundred percent of the minutes are scrutinized. And we also want to inform the population that as the Supreme Electoral Tribunal we are honored to report on this great achievement, because if they follow the antecedents that the court has had today, we have adhered to the population, ”said Martínez.

He stressed that the technology first used in the elections “came to strengthen democracy. We have shown that the just will of the citizens was respected, that the vote cast on February 28 was respected and proof of this is the tendency of the winning party, ”said the TSE chairman.

He added that this trend was maintained in the results of the latest study.

He also explained that the Court was awaiting the search for 33 records in election packages from the Voting Reception Boards (JRV), so last Wednesday at 10 p.m. magistrates met to make a decision based on the transparency of the process, and they defined looking for the JRVs that they had not studied.

The magistrates had declared yesterday that the 33 laws belonging to the Central American Parliament (Parlacen) and city councils would not change the outcome of the final vote.

Because we had the legality of an electoral process, we went to the Office of the Prosecutor General of the Republic (FGR), the Electoral Supervisory Board, which supports the warring (political) institutions in these elections, namely 10 and we decided to to bring those packages to the head office where we carry out the final check, ”said the TSE chairman.

He added that 30 JRVs were assessed to find that the minutes examined later contained 100% of the minutes.

“It would be necessary to complete (the final check) the consolidation by the departments and enter these minutes that were examined from now on (yesterday) into the system. Two departments have already been consolidated, two remain, which will be implemented in the course of tomorrow and later we would upload a preliminary statistic to inform the population what the statistics are like in terms of City Councils, Legislative Assembly and Central American Parliament ”, said Martinez.

He added that at the end of the process, they meet the dexterity they have proposed to run for the election, and provide the data accordingly. According to what the TSE has reported, the results for the Legislative Assembly are as follows: the New Ideas party with 46 deputies, the New Ideas coalition with GANA, 10 deputies; ARENA with 9 deputies, FMLN with 4 deputies, WINS with 5 deputies, the ARENA coalition with DS, 4 deputies, the PCN party with an alternate, the PDC party with an alternate, Nuestro Tiempo with an alternate, Let’s go with a deputy, the coalition of PCN with DS with a deputy and the ARENA coalition with PCN with a deputy.

The TSE magistrate, Noel Orellana, posted on social networks that the final vote leaves 54 deputies chosen by quotient and 30 by residuals.

He reported that after the stage where the minutes are published and the results of the final check are announced, the right of the political parties, so that they can appeal for annulment, commences, during the days following the reporting of the final results of the elections. .
