As if 2020 wasn’t hard enough for humanity, ‘The Simpsons’ for 2021 ‘predict’ what the apocalypse would be. This time, the writers did it with an exact date: January 20, the day the new president of the United States takes office.
So let’s take a look ‘The little house of horror 31’, chapter that is part of the last (32) season and which is characterized by the elections in the North American country.

The ‘chilling’ events happen because ‘Homer’ fell asleep and forgot to vote on November 3. Later, on January 20, 2021, The Simpsons’ father appears above his Springfield home with a beer with an armor made of graters, pots and sieves.

Then a giant robot kicks ‘Juan Topo’, while saying: “This is happening to me because I voted for Kanye [West]”. For his part, Lenny and Carl they observe only hidden behind a wrecked car and with the city on fire.
The scene ends with the four horsemen described in the book of the apocalypse: plague, famine and war. The fourth, death, is replaced by the chapter name in English: Treehouse of Horror XXXI.
