The presidential family is waiting for the new year in their new home

The presidential family will welcome the New Year in a mansion with sea views, located in Doctor Núñez and Domínguez streets, in this city.

President Luis Abinader, his wife Raquel Arbaje and their three daughters moved into their new home last weekend, but while they tried to do this discreetly, it was impossible. LISTIN DIARIO also found out.

Abinader and his family lived in an apartment in Torre Lloret del Mar., of the Paraíso extension, an area where traffic is frequently congested due to the amount of vehicles driving around there.

However, in his new home which is located about a kilometer from the El Manquito de La Feria and Mata Hambre neighborhoods, as well as close to the residential areas of La Esperilla and San Gerónimo, It has a dual carriageway with almost no traffic.

This sector, where the 9-1-1 system is also active, consists of houses that simulate palaces and where you can hear the singing of birds.

The new house of the Abinader-Arbaje family is the result of the merger of two houses, on which they printed a minimalist style, which stands out when seeing those passing by, where there are huge residences with a traditional style. At the front was a team of police officers who jealously guard the place.

Despite the fact that Raquel Arbaje owns an exclusive furniture and home improvement store, the presidential couple used stakes from their old home to furnish the new one.

And it’s that Saturday when they started the move, the street where they lived was closed, so the company that loaded their furniture would have more facilities for it.

The visit of LISTIN DIARIO’s reporter team to President Abinader’s home was kindly received by the police officers guarding the site because, despite being jealous of the president’s safety, they hindered the work of journalists.

Of course, they asked for identification from the reporters, took her pictures, and then had them take pictures and videos of the mansion.

It is recalled that in the president’s affidavit he emphasized that he owned two apartments, one of them worth RD $ 35,400,000, and a home worth US $ 1,339,410.
