The President of the Organization of Popular Women (OMP), There is Skerret, died after experiencing complications from COVID-19, the vice president of the OMP reported today, Tuesday, Ada Alvarez Conde.
Skerret was hospitalized for the illness for several weeks.
“We confirm with great sadness the message of Giovanni García, son of Ada Skerrett, about the death of our PresidentÁlvarez Conde said in a post on Facebook.
“The OMP joins the grief of the family and everyone who has been touched by Ada,” he added.
Immediately several popular leaders responded and complained about Skerret’s death.
“I am very sorry for the loss of a great warrior Ada Skerret. She was a great friend, distant and ready to help. The People’s Party is losing one of the great fighters to the ideal of PAN-TIERRA Y LIBERTAD. I love you. Ada, ”said former San Juan mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz Soto.
